The Dynamics Research Group (DRG) at the University of Sheffield will once again be holding their annual poster showcase on Thursday 19th March. The DRG is one of the largest structural dynamics research groups in the world, with researchers specialising in the fields of acoustics, nonlinear dynamics, structural health and condition monitoring, uncertainty analysis and vibration control. The event is a great opportunity to meet those undertaking research within the group, as well as industry partners who are directly involved with many of the projects that will be on display.
The event will take place in Workroom 4 – 38 Mappin Street, Sheffield, S1 4DT and will begin at 1pm with a short introduction provided by Professor Elizabeth Cross. The poster exhibition will then commence at around 1:20pm and finish at 4:00pm.
This is the opportunity to learn about vibro-acoustics research at Sheffield, visit the new Heartspace Building, the home of the Dynamics Research Group, and discuss collaboration opportunities.
