What would you like UKAN to do for you?
I would like UKAN to do the following, (a) Networking with other researchers to promote collaborative research, (b) Provide funding opportunities to attend various acoustic conferences/events happening across the world, (c) Suggest potential research areas/applications using audio to be focused in future particularly for wellbeing, healthcare, (d) Create Job opportunities in research and teaching .

How would you like to contribute to UKAN?
I would like to share my experience on designing AI based audio classification framework, and compression of AI model for reducing their computations and memory storage.

Equipment:
I would suggest facilities such as (a) Living labs for audio related experiments on users-experience in healthcare, (b) research labs dedicated to designing hardware or prototypes of AI-based software solutions to better analyse the impact of such solution on environment and how practical/useful the software solutions are for users

Software or numerical codes:
Python deep learning packages.
