It is our pleasure to announce the Auditory Science Meeting (ASM) 2024 on Thursday 26 – Friday 27th September 2024.
Supported by the UKAN Hearing SIG.
Please note that this is the UK Acoustics Network (UKAN) meeting that has been called ‘Basic Auditory Science (BAS)’ in the past as well as ‘Ear & Hear.’
ASM2024 will be hosted by the Cambridge Hearing Group and take place at St. Catharine’s College, Cambridge. There will be affordable accommodation at the college and a conference dinner will be included in the price. We are currently working to raise funds to ensure that the registration costs are kept as low as possible.
Research topics to include but not be limited by the following:
- Hearing loss and hearing-assistive technologies
- Physiology of hearing
- Auditory cortex
- Psychophysics
- Spatial hearing and immersive audio
- Computational audiology
- Rehabilitation and training for improving hearing
- Cognitive aspects of hearing
- Development of hearing
- Age-related hearing decline
- Electrophysiology, neuroimaging and objective measures (M/EEG, fNIRS, fMRI, eCAPs etc.)
- Speech perception
- Language processing
Abstract submission will open on 26 April and deadline for submission is 26 June. We expect to be able to give details for registration in April as well.
