We are looking for mathematicians of outstanding ability, who are seeking a friendly, supportive and collegial environment in which to develop as world-class researchers and teachers, and who will contribute to the continued development of the Applied Mathematics Group and to the life of the Department of Mathematics, in the School of Natural Sciences.
Applicants are sought in any areas of applied mathematics, who will enhance the existing strength in these areas within the Departmentand School, especially where there are connections with other areas of mathematics, natural sciences or engineering.
Applicants should have an emerging or established track record of outstanding research in any area of applied mathematics, excluding theoretical physics, (with allowance made for career breaks) and a genuine commitment to, and enthusiasm for, teaching, research and the development of others.
