Those who are new to the peer review process at the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) often feel confused or overwhelmed by what is involved. It’s no wonder: there is a lot of information to consider each step of the way, and a lot of misinformation gets shared over the years. This session seeks to explore the truth behind common myths about the process and provide a solid foundation to explain what happens after a researcher submits a proposal for a new investigator award, standard mode grant, or fellowship proposal. Although it does not cover how to write a proposal, it does highlight sections of the proposal where applicants can have a positive impact on the process.
This webinar is offered by a former EPSRC Programme Manager, Dr Elaine Massung.
