IoP Tutorial Day: What matters in acoustics?

The IoP Physical Acoustics Group and Materials & Characterisation Group are pleased to announce a joint Tutorial Day.

The day is intended for industrialists, students and researchers at all levels, with invited talks from leading speakers focusing on acoustics research in a wide range of fields such as biomedicine, 3D printed materials, characterisation of porous media, and more. This year’s Tutorial day also includes a poster session to allow students to present and discuss their research and a discussion panel on the current grand instrumental challenges in Physical Acoustics, to be reported in a summarising journal article.

Abstract Submission

Contributions for  poster presentations are invited. Abstracts of a maximum of 600 words should be submitted online by 16 September 2022.

Information for submitting your abstract

  • If you have previously submitted an abstract or registered to attend an IOP Conference, please log in. For new users you will need to create an account. If you have forgotten your password, you can request details from the login page. Please note your submission will not be completed until you reach the “submission confirmation” page.
  • Enter your abstract title.
  • Enter co-author(s) details if applicable (fields marked with * are mandatory)
  • Enter your abstract in plain text – maximum 600 words.
  • Review your submission and select submit.
