The computational acoustics special interest group of the Acoustics Network will hold its first meeting on Tuesday 20th February in Birmingham. The meeting will showcase numerical methods for acoustics covering ray tracing, finite element, boundary element, finite difference and finite volume methods, with speakers from academia and commercial specialists. The afternoon workshop will cover discussion about the future activities of the group, including scientific meetings, public engagement, resources, expertise and facility scoping etc.”
