The Art of Being a Consultant on Thursday 20 April 2023 is aimed at future acousticians looking to join, or who have recently joined the acoustic consultancy world. The day will explore what being an acoustic consultant is, how you do the job and the rules around consultancy.

The Art of Being an Acoustician on Friday 21 April 2023 is aimed at acousticians remaining in acoustic academia, research and policy making.

Speakers have been divided into three sessions: senior acousticians, currently employed and finally early careers. The speakers will give short 20 minute talks, on the topic of career development and a challenging/interesting project they have worked on, followed by panel discussion, during which attendees can ask questions of the speakers.

At the close of the event there will be time for one-to-one networking. The event will close with a celebration with drinks and nibbles.
