The annual tutorial day of the Physical Acoustic Group will be held on 18th October 2024 at the Institute of Physics. Following their standard format there will be two tutorials, each aimed at bringing a topic to a non-specialist audience. The theme this year will be “Acoustic Metamaterialsæ and we are honoured to have Prof R. Craster and Prof Geoff Nash as our invited speakers. The meeting will also include a poster session where researchers and students can communicate their work in the field of metamaterials. Abstracts for poster presentations are invited. All attendees are welcome.
Please note that the abstract submission deadline is 10 September 2024 and the event will take place on October 18th at IOP, London
