What would you like UKAN to do for you?
I am interested in developing contacts with researchers from outside the applied mathematics community who can benefit from our work (engineers, physicists, industrial researchers, etc.).
How would you like to contribute to UKAN?
I have a wide range of expertise in mathematical methods used in acoustics. I have a track record of developing and implementing bespoke techniques for complex problems that cannot be solved using standard approaches.
Software or numerical codes:
I have written numerous Fortran codes for problems in acoustics. Some of these are fairly generic (e.g. 2D linear multiple scattering code, lattice sum library), whereas others are tailored to specific problems. I am currently developing code for solving matrix Wiener-Hopf equations in cases where the unknown functions have finite branch cuts.
