Knowledge transfer

I am based at the National Institute for Hearing Research (NIHR) Nottingham Biomedical Research Centre, with links to both Hearing and NIHR Clinical Research Network/Facility Infrastructure. We benefit from dedicated testing facilities including purpose designed quiet testing rooms, soundbooths and audiological/cognitive/speech testing equipment and software. We have access to NHS services and patients both locally (Nottingham Audiology Services, Queens Medical Centre ENT) and nationally via the NIHR Clinical Research Network (CRN).

Software or numerical codes:
Developed two auditory-cognitive training programs (phonemic discrimination n-back; competing speech), delivered via an online platform (app).

Recorded ecologically valid CRM-like sentences (4 talkers, 6 situations) co-created with hearing aid users.
