I am a sales agent for AOS/TPAC ultrasonic, phased array and TFM equipment. I am interested in finding out how and where this type of equipment can be used to advantage. I am also interested in composite inspection, I used to work for the National Composite Centre, and I am interested in whether TFM or other advanced techniques can be of help in the inspection of composites, and other attenuative materials. I am also interested in areas where biomedical ultrasonics is ahead of NDT, to see if we can incorporate some of their ideas at AOS.
What would you like UKAN to do for you?
Inform me of events, where I can hear relevant talks and network with potential clients.
How would you like to contribute to UKAN?
Well, I think I would need to attend events for a while before I can suggest ways of contributing. At the moment I could contribute by helping to organise events, and publicising events, as I have quite a lot of experience in this.
TPAC Pioneer, incorporating AOS PA 2 ultrasonic board + Aria software. This is the top of the range equipment in the AOS/TPAC portfolio.
Software or numerical codes:
TPAC offer user interface software: Aria, Tokata, Prelude and Concerto. They also offer an open SDK/API interface between the UT board firmware and the user software. (I think this is correct - it is not my area of knowledge).
