Underwater Acoustics SIG – Challenges of the Past & Challenges for the Future Workshop
July 11, 2018
58 Prince's Gate, London.
The Special Interest Group for Underwater Acoustics will hold its Challenges of the Past & Challenges for the Future workshop on 11 July 2018 at 58 Prince’s Gate, London.
Details about the workshop and an agenda can be found in the attachment.
We would like to invite all members, and your colleagues, who are interested in underwater acoustics, to participate in the workshop. This will be an exciting opportunity to hear about some recent contributions that have been made to today’s research challenges and to explore the research challenges facing the underwater acoustics community in the future.
We are actively seeking short presentations from our industry members to talk about real world problems that they need to be studied today and in the future. Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you can offer a short presentation.
The workshop will include presentations from the top three entries from the Technology to Change the Future student competition. The closing date for the competition has been extended to 30 June 2018 so there is still time to get involved or encourage students that you are working with to get involved. Details about the competition can be found at http://acoustics.ac.uk/news/technology-to-change-the-future
The meeting is free to attend for any of UK Acoustics Network member but please register by email to email@example.com by 4 July 2018.
