The Institute of Acoustics has the great pleasure to announce it is holding the International Conference on Underwater Acoustics 2022, 20 -23 June 2022 in Southampton. Following on from our ICUA2020 virtual conference, we are very much looking forward to holding a physical conference this time. The conference will have a series of oral sessions covering a broad spectrum of international underwater acoustic research. We are planning several social events for some informal and relaxed times. The conference hotel is centrally located very close to the main historic area with many restaurants and hotels. The nearby ferry port offers regular sailings to the Isle of Wight. We look forward to welcoming our friends and colleagues from all over the world to present your latest research.

Abstract submission is now open

Abstract submission deadline: EXTENDED to  4th March 2022 (17:00 GMT)
Notification to authors: w/c 4th April 2022

Submission

Prospective authors for both papers and posters interested in the International Conference of Underwater Acoustics 2022 are invited to submit a title and maximum 300 word abstract. You need to provide a theme for each abstract and submit your paper using our Online Abstract Submission Site.

Review

Each abstract will be reviewed by one member of the Scientific Committee.

Authors will be notified about the outcome of their submissions during the week commencing 4th April 2022. The notification will be sent to the submitting author only. Please do not call the office for details prior to this date, should you have any queries regarding the outcome of your submission. We are only able to give information to the person who submitted the abstract.
