Zoom voice perception study – call for participants!

Stephanie Berger, a PhD student from Kiel University (Kiel, Germany), is seeking participants for her PhD study. She investigates how specific voice features influence the perception of English and American internet personalities.

For her PhD thesis, she is running a perception experiment on Zoom for which she need participants who are 18 to 35 years old with English as (one) mother tongue (i.e., learned as a young child at home) with no known hearing impairments. The experiment will take up to one hour to complete. It takes place on Zoom (audio necessary, video optional), so you will need to have the Zoom Client, a computer or laptop (tablets and phones do not work) as well as headphones.

Further information on the experiment procedure and requirements are in the PDF document here. As a thank-you, Stephanie is donating ₤1 per finished experiment session to PAPYRUS (prevention of young suicide) after the experiment is finished.
