Early Careers Group Seminars May 2020 Jamie Scanlan

As part of Dr Martina Sciola’s Introduction to Deep Learning for Acoustic Signals (MathWorks) webinar in May 2020, Jamie Scanlan, a PhD student at the University of Salford, delivered two talks. The first is on his PhD project and, in particular, using machine learning classification of impulse responses for diagnosis of osteoporosis. The second talk is on Independent Component Analysis, coauthored by Dr Francis Li, also of the University of Salford.
